Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Charges:

Your shipping/handling fee is determined by the parcel’s weight and destination. Value is also considered for insurance purposes only. Some orders are shipped in multiple parcels. If you wish to be contacted with the total of your order prior to shipping you must make the request in the comments box during the checkout process.

United States:

All orders are subject to shipping costs. We will choose the best and most cost effective way to ship your products.

UPS is used whenever possible. However, should your order exceed UPS size or weight limits, “Truck Delivery” will be selected to speed delivery to you.    

For truck delivery on items that require extra shipping and handling charges, drivers will usually only provide tailgate delivery (the driver will bring the merchandise to the tailgate of the truck, but won’t assist you in bringing the merchandise inside). Furniture shipments are bulkier and take longer to deliver than you would normally expect

We also offer specialized freight delivery services. If you request these services, you’ll receive more information about these special deliveries and their charges before your order is shipped. If your order requires extra shipping and handling charges, a Buy Nails Direct Representative will call you to confirm the charges.

Orders shipped outside the 48 contiguous States to Hawaii and Alaska by ground are subject to the carrier’s normal delivery time. You can always choose to expedite your order next or second day air with additional costs. However, the U.S.  Department of Transportation restricts orders containing hazardous materials from being shipped by air.



Shipment outside the continental United States (including Hawaii and Alaska) are subject to the international carriers shipping rate. An additional hazardous material fee will be incurred as set forth by the international freight lines’ regulations. You may choose to expedite your order by air. All rates are variable and estimates given with each individual order.  With the exception of Hawaii and Alaska, shipping costs are billed directly to you by the carrier.                                                                                                      

Duties, taxes, VAT and import costs are not included in the cost of delivery. These fees are set and charged to you by the country of destination, based on the shipment value and class of goods. These costs are billed directly to you by the carrier.


Additional UPS charges:

Residential deliveries - $2.50 per box

COD deliveries - for pre-approved accounts only, $10.95 per order

Any expedited shipping, oversized items, and furniture will incur an extra charge.


Shipping Rules & Policies:

US Customers: Buy Nails Direct will ship to your home, your place of business, or another residence address.

International Customers: shipments will be made to your home, or to a USA residence address.

We cannot ship to any of these locations: hotels, motels and resorts.

We ship to APO addresses, US territories and possessions. 

Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days. 

Please be aware that shipments via UPS are significantly faster, are easily traced should they go astray, and have a guaranteed delivery time.

Shipments sent via US Postal Service can take much longer to reach their destination and cannot be tracked


Freight line shipments:

There is an additional charge for residential delivery. Customer is responsible for inspecting shipment for any damages and must notify the driver immediately.                                                                                                                                                   

Customer is responsible for unloading the shipment and for bringing it inside their establishment. It is not the responsibility of Buy Nails Direct, the driver or the freight company.                                                                                                                          

Some freight companies will deliver indoors for an extra charge. This must be arranged at the time of ordering.
Privacy & Security


Buy Nails Direct respects your privacy and therefore will never sell or otherwise distribute any personal information that you have provided to us.                                                                                                                                                                         

All information will be kept strictly confidential except for information required to be submitted to our credit card payment service.


Prices shown are in US Dollars and subject to change without notice. Buy Nails Direct reserves the right to change or amend prices, policies, availability of products, and packaging in this catalog or our website due to errors in printing, omission or changes in business conditions. Buy Nails Direct reserves the right to limit quantities. Any company or brand names in this catalog are the trademarks of their respective owners.

Returns & Replacements

Return Policy:

At Buy Nails Direct (BND), our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it to BND within 15 days of receipt of item(s). Damages or missing items must be noted on the Bill of Lading, which must also be signed by the freight driver for those items.

Claims for damaged or missing items must be received by BND within two business days of receipt of merchandise. Customer is responsible for ensuring that BND has received his or her claim for damaged or missing items. Credit will not be issued until we have received and inspect condition of item. You have the option of exchanging the item(s), receiving a refund or use as store credit. Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by credit card, once we receive the product we will credit your account.

Please allow 15-30 days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement.  If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued within 15 business days from the date of return a restocking fee of 15% will be charged on all return items.  If terms and conditions are not met (see Terms and Conditions section below), Alfalfa reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of 30%. Any refused return will be shipped back at customer’s expense.


How to return or exchange an item:

 In order to return an item you need to first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.  To request an RMA number, call 877-859-4746.          

Place item in its original packaging into a shipping carton. Include the invoice and the reason for the return. If defective, please specify the defect.                                           

The RMA number must be clearly written on the shipping carton. If you received a label in the email, stick the label and tape it to the carton.  We recommend that you insure the package and ship via a traceable method.  Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Terms and Conditions:

All returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, in their original packaging, and must include all packing material,  blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories.                                                                                                                      

Defective items may be repaired or exchanged the same model or manufacturer’s equivalent model. BND is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from use of any merchandise bought from us.                                       

No refunds are given on shipping and handling charges. BND is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

No Return/Exchanges On:

Promotional items, Special and Customized Order items, Spa pedicure and any accompanying furniture, Furniture, Vinyl Signs, Banners, Polishes

We will notify you of any price increase or decrease before we process your order.  From time to time, we may update the labels or packaging of our products. We want to assure you that the quality of the products will be the same or better. 

Sales Tax:

All orders for store pickup are subject to sales tax of 9%. Sales tax of 9% is charged for orders shipped to Baton Rouge area. Sales tax of 4% is charged for orders shipped to all other areas within the state of Louisiana. Customer is responsible for any sales or use tax required by customer’s state but not collected by BND.


International, Non-contiguous U.S. and U.S. Territory Customers:

You will be the importer of record and will be responsible for all levies, duties, import fees, taxes and other charges.  Only customers within the contiguous United States are eligible for free shipping offers. Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico are responsible for all shipping charges on advertised free shipping offers. All other customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges on advertised free shipping offers.                                                                                                       

Payment is accepted by credit card or postal money order (in U.S. dollar and must be paid in full before shipping.


Special and Customized Orders:

 A 10% non-refundable deposit is required on all special order and customized items. After the order is confirmed, Special and Customized orders must be paid in full before processing.                                                                                                        

Special and Customized order items are non-cancellable/non-returnable.  Please allow additional production time for special and customized order items.


Furniture & Spas Policy:

An additional 2-3 weeks is required on all furniture and spa orders. Balance must be paid in full before the order is processed. Customer is responsible for unpacking and assembly.                                                                                                                    

Transportation, shipping, and handling charges are additional charges, payable by customer.


Out of Stock / Subject to Availability:

Some of our items in our catalog, on our website, or advertised in flyers are part of seasonal or one-time production runs and are available only while supplies last.                                                                                                                                            

Our inventory fluctuates, and an item(s) that you ordered may be out of stock. In the event of shortage of an item, we will contact you immediately to notify you of the lead time                                                                                                                                       

We also offer the option to cancel that particular item, to substitute a similar item or to place the item on back order. You will not be charged for out of stock items until they ship, and there is never an additional delivery charge for back orders.
